Lore

Fanfarutans used the most deadly pokémon in their native jungle. Although they are not predators, they are fierce warriors able of the greatest feats. Unfortunately, there was one animal strong enough to endanger it : humans. 
Between the numerous safaris to catch Fanfarutans and the illegal hunting for their flowers, the population quickly diminished. 
Fortunately, they are now safe and sound in Pr Willow's personal reserve. 

Fanfarutans don't have as good an ear has Chimepanzee. But they have an amazing rythm and a beautiful voice. 
Wonderful singers and impressive musicians, they are a wonder of nature. 
Their voice resonate like a deep bell and can be heard in the entire jungle. 

They like to practice together and work in harmony. 
Once they are satisifed with their music, they line up behind the alpha male, and they starting marching across the jungle. 
They use this ritual to mark their territory. All surrounding predators know better than to enter this area. 

If a predator attacks the territory, it will have to face a Fanfarutan :
The menu is powerful iron-hard punches, kicks and headbutts and eardrum piercing shrieks. 

Fanfarutans love to take care of Chimepanzees and teach them the harmony of music. 
But they hate to take care of Musikey because of how squeaky and indiscipline they are. 

If someone touches Fanfautan tail, it will lose its strenghts. When its tail is released, the pokémon will become angry and restless, clicking its two flowers together. This is a funny yet frightening spectacle. 

One weird thing about these creatures is that they have 2 favorite kind of music : classical and trash metal.
