Always hanging upside down in dirty caves or old mansions, it slide from the ceiling to frighten the bypassers. 
Superstitious people that believe in the evil eye think that seeing one is sign f bad curse. 
This is quite accurate for the more ghosts there are around, the higher the number of taranteye. 

Even bug lovers are disgusted by this pokemon appearance and will run away upon seeing it.
Apart from its look and its mischievious nature, this is in fact quite a gentle pokemon. 
Although cuddling it would be a bad idea. Indeed its hair are very irritating and can be thrown to the ennemy. If they reach the eyes, the damages will be considerable.

From the moment of its birth, its back is swollen and empty. This will stay that way until it is impregnated.
After laying an egg, its back will deflate, allowing it to evolve and move faster and more freely.

Scientists have been trying to figure why this spider has only 5 legs for the longest time. 
They have no clue after all these years of debates and speculation.
