Velka : Goddess of Sin (Dark Souls)

By far my biggest artistic project ever ! (at the time).

I've learn so much from doing this. So much indeed that just after finishing that project, I feel like I could do so much better now.

This is a wallpaper depicting Velka and the unkindled one fighting on the great weeping willow near Londor (which you can see in the background.

Velka is a black-haired witch and a rogue deity. 
She also wears a long hood and is often affiliated to crows. 
She is a goddess that strikes fear into the guilty's heart, whether they are humans, giants or even gods.
As a consequence, she has very long black, crow's wings and talons and a hood that covers half her face. 
She is also the goddes of sin so I gave her a weapon inspired by an executioner's sword.

Regarding Dark Souls 3 lore, I do hope that we will meet Velka in one of the DLCs.
Which doesn't seem to far fetched as she is linked to both Londor, the sacrifice road and possibly the angelic faith. 

Afterall, I do believe that the angels that visited Gertrude are crow people of Velka (they are benevolent winged humans). 
Afterwards, the faith of Velka and Ariamis spread into Lothric. The believers of Velka and Ariamis were called the Corvians. 
But this religion was declared a heresy and the Corvians were put into wagons to be sent on the road of sacrifices in order to feed Aldrich. 
Gertrude was put into a cage and a civil war exploded. 
This was the beginning of Lothric's downfall. 
Some Corvians escaped their awful destiny and made the road of sacrifices their home. They can turn into crow people themselves.

Velka is the great deity of Londor with Kaathe at her service. 
After the blood of the wolf of Farron dried because of the linking of the fire, Kaathe was free once again to corrupt cities. 
One such cities, he named Londor (in reference to new Londo) and he made the home of hollows. 
Maidens are serving him and they wear black attire and a helm like a crow's face. They also use her miracle "vow of silence".
